Since its founding in 2022, Hummingbird Fund has raised more than $566,889 to accelerate innovation in ALS research, advocacy, and overall functional support.
Specifically Hummingbird Fund:
- Directly supports research for a cure through ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI).
- Partners with I AM ALS to amplify and promote advocacy for large-scale increases in funding for research, access to therapies, and improving the lives of people living with ALS.
- Is launching the Hummingbird Hope Project to instill hope and amplify the strengths of those living with ALS.
- Is exploring ways to promote early diagnosis of ALS through awareness and education.
- Is a founding member of the Cures Collaborative, which promotes collaboration toward a cure for all neurodegenerative diseases.
- Continues its local focus on improving care for people living with ALS through advocacy, education, and awareness.
