The Hummingbird Fund sponsors on-going local projects and we’d love to have you join the team. Some examples include:

• Submit written public testimony
• Targeted letter writing to support legislation
• Fund-raising events
• Media
• Networking

Get Involved on the National Level

While there are many excellent organizations dedicated to ALS, we at Humminbird are most closely aligned with I AM ALS — a patient-led, grassroots organization. The opportunities to be involved are almost limitless and can be comfortably tailored to your time and interest.

No Ordinary Campaign

A top priority for 2023 is to host a screening of “No Ordinary Campaign” in Charlottesville. This award winning-documentary needs to be seen widely, and a screening in Charlottesville, perhaps co-sponsored with UVA would help the film gain traction. Ideas or contacts are happily welcomed.
